Isengard: part 4

More Isengard! I painted up the remaining scout forces.
I started with two more Lurtz poses. Cool models, now I have all three poses painted up :D.

I painted the captured Merry en Pippin models. Awesome models, really thematic!

And the best for last. The old unreleased Uruk scout captain which we finally got with the made to order. Just lovely and to finish the new Snaga model. Once again, Forgeworld models = perfection!

Random bits and bobs

Another batch of models!
I had some models laying around the painting desk for a while now. They got pulled out of the painting queue for various reasons. I decided to finish them up.

First off, I painted my mounted Beregond model from unreleased miniatures. I got him a few years ago as a price for winning a tournament. I really dislike the sculpt :p. But he was in the backlog so I finished him anyway.

Next up a lovely Beorn. A lovely and rare model. He really needs a character serie model.

Finally I painted the old shagrat model. He also could use a nex sculpt. Hopefully he will get one with the quest of the ringbearer supplement :D.

Isengard: part 3

I continued working on Isengard and painted up another batch of warriors. The army is nearly finished so I decided to keep working on them until every single model is painted. Next up will be some scout models. I also have some more random models on the painting desk so they will probably be first up in the next post.

The Mancave

I finally finished the mancave! It only took two years and a lockdown.
Happy how it eventually turned out.

You enter enter with view on the painted collection:

The door itself is painted resembling the doors of Durin with glow in the dark paint. Taking a decent picture is impossible but I still tried:

My painted collection. I added some extra led lights to make the models in the center closet pop out some more.

Some overview pictures of the room itself. I decorated it with banners from Game of thrones and in the center the glorious banners of Gondor itself. In the center is my Ikea lamp painted as the death star. All lights are connected with Philips Hue so the go on and off on voice command. I plan to add them to an app so they change on the rythm of the music you put on.

Boardgames and scenery stuffed away. Still room for more!

Bookcase with the necessary Lotr books. A Panzerfaust on top of it, part of my other hobby (military collection)

My selfmade bar:

Cardgame/ boardgame table with bumper pool table unterneath it:

My gaming table and playmats stuffed away:

And a glimps from my other hobby. I mostly collect war medals and some extras:
