Painting challenge

Every month we have a painting challenge with our local gaming club. This month the objecvtive was painting a single model within 24 houres. 

I was looking in my backlog checking for a model I would probably never paint within the next few years but should be possible to do within a day. I dug out this lovely Witch king and added another model to the painted collection.

I painted up the last ent for now. I'm still waiting for the release of Beechbone :D.

I tried a birch painting scheme to bring some more colour to the army. Really like the new addition:

Iron Hills update

 

Another small update. I painted up the new Forgeworld dwarf heroes. interesting models, I'm looking forward to the new supplement.

An ENT-ertaining detour (part III)

I branched forward with the ent project and painted the new and old treebeard. The new model is an absolute beast. Lovely sculpt and full of character. I gave the old one also some love. Although it is an old sculpt, I still really like it. It withstood the test of time.

Next up another plastic ent. For now I will leave it at that.

I continued with the Ent project and finished up the next two models:

I started with a complete new project and painted my first test case ent. For the first time I used contract paints to get the basis done. Followed up by some drybrushes and layering.

Happy with the result! Next up a metal ent and Quickbeam.

Isengard part 17: Dunland completed

 

And finally the last batch of Dunland models. An army showcase will follow soon. Lovely project and a cool army. Awesome models and I already played my first few games with them with succes.
