A song of ice and fire miniature game: the Night's Watch part VII

I painted up the latest command set for my Night's watch army:

New year, new army! The rise of Harad: part I

I decided to start this year finishing an army of which the foundation was made in 2004. Haradrim! Over the years a gradually added some new bits and pieces untill I only had Serpent guard and mounted models left. A whole lot to paint but acually very few models.

And another Dwarven update. I started with the vault warden teams. 

I finished the first two kinsbands. Only a few dwarfs left!

And once more the year came to a close. I made some greatprogress and I'm happy to continue the project once more. Let see If I reached my yearly goals:

• Paint more models then I buy: I own the complete Middle Earth GW collection. I only add some models to game with every year. So this one waseasy to complete.
• Buy more models then GW releases: another one easy to complete. Sadly we hardly had any new models. So buying more was not an issue.
• Paint at least a 100 models: I smashed this target this year. I painted 187 new GW models and another 90 from other gaming systems (or repaints).

In total I now own 2946 Lotr models and 2346 of them are painted. So in total 101 extra models join the ranks.

Last but not least a have a 10 year goal. In 10 years I wanted to end my backlog. I will now start year 8 a delay of one year. I try to paint 150 new models a year so with an exact backlog of 600 lotr models I wil need 4 years to complete.

And more progress! I finished the dwarf rangers, all three kinsbands.

And yet another green kinsband! I finished the normal dwarf warriors and heroes. Now onto the rangers, Iron guard and vault warden teams :D

Azog's hunters: Part I - hunter orcs

I took a little break from painting dwarves and I started with a new project. My hunter orc army. I finished the first warband. They are a real joy to paint so I already ordered another box.
