The last few weeks were a rollercoaster ride. They past in a blink of an eye but they were full of hobby goodness. First I attended Ardacon with some friends and got a really good result.
In doubles we won two games and drawed one. Good for the 16th place overall. On the grand tournament things even went better for me. After the first day I had four wins. So I started the last day unbeaten. I won my fifth game and had still one game left. We were with six left unbeaten, so winning it would grand a podium place.
In a tight last match I lost so ended up on the 20th place overall. Not a bad result on 222 players.
Already looking forward to next year!
Last week we had our very own local tournament for the Flemish Hobbit League. For the very first time we sold out with 18 attendees. Middle Earth SBG is very much alive!
I even managed to paint up my weathertop scenery piece and some twighlight ringwraiths:
