I painted up this cool Forgeworld diorama. Nice models and a lovely addition to my collection:

 

Clearing the backlog

I painted uo a whole bunch of fellowship models:

 

I still had some hobbits laying aroud to join my Ent army and decided to finally paint them up. Three merry's and three Pippin's done!

 

Isengard: part 4

 More Isengard! I painted up the remaining scout forces. 

I started with two more Lurtz poses. Cool models, now I have all three poses painted up :D.

I painted the captured Merry en Pippin models. Awesome models, really thematic!

And the best for last. The old unreleased Uruk scout captain which we finally got with the made to order. Just lovely and to finish the new Snaga model. Once again, Forgeworld models = perfection!

Scouring of the shire part VII

I painted up the last heroes, the real heroes of the story. Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin on pony. The models itself have a lot of nostalgia for me. Originally part of the old Scouring of the Shire set and supplement they were released at the peak of this game itself. The good old times!

It is really interesting to look back to all the upps and downs this hobby had. It really lets you appriciate the condition the game is in today. New models, upcoming supplements, a new Lotr Amazon series. For sure, good times are ahead.

Gandalf the White and Pippin

I painted up my Gandalf the White model. I have to say it was the most difficult model to paint ever. So many shades of white! But I really like the result.

The ruins of Arnor (part three), some heroes and more spectres

A while ago Corvus miniatures gave a painting class. I brought some hobbits to practise. I finally managed to paint them up completely. I figured I also needed to paint Aragorn to joint the weathertop version of the hobbits and I needed Aragorn for the ruins of Arnor! This is the result:
