Legolas + Celeborn update

I finally got to paint legolas! I got an elf army that I use all the time in games, but I never play with legolas. So I figured it was time to paint him up and soon I will try him out in a game.  Legolas was a bit of a pain to paint up because of all the small details. I really wanted him to look nice because he is ofcourse a centerpiece in the army.

I also painted up celeborn to finish up my galadhrim collection a bit further, I will not use him in battles as the armoured version of him is way better. Celeborn was actually a pleasure to paint as there were not too much details and I didn't need too many colors.

Star Wars Imperial Assault

A while ago I bought this awesome game and decided to paint the miniatures. I just gave them a table top quality paintjob because I didn't want to put the same amount of effort into them as with my lord of the rings miniatures. My backlog is big enough as it is ;-).

Although they don't have the same amount of detail as GW's miniatures and their mold lines were terrible, I really liked painting them.

mirror of galadriel+nasgul update

A little update of my work, I finished the mirror of galadriel. I really liked to paint it because it has so much detail. Drybrushing a few greytones and a green wash gave this result:
