Beornings - Army showcase

Beornings!

My latest project. As soon as I saw the models I new this would be the next project. Over the last month I painted the whole army. Once again lovely Forgeworld sculpts. Grimbeorn was just brilliant. The difference in quality with the Grimbeorn bear model from Forgeworld and the old Beorn bear model is mindblowing. Only downpoint for the Beornings is the limited variation in sculps. I ended up converting most of them to give the army some variation.

I played four games with them the last few weeks and they devestated every opponent. Strong army and a fun project!

 

More Mordor

I managed to paint up some more Mordor reinforcements. The new Mordor heroes Muzgur and Rasgush. Lovely models and Muzgur in his assault on Lothlorien legendary legion is truely fantastic.

I also painted up the last of the metal Mordor orcs.

Next up is a new Beorning army. I will try to paint the complete army within a month :D.

Another small project I have finished. I painted up the old Radagast model that I had laying around for at least a decade.

Metal Mordor orcs

I took on a little side project and painted up most of my metal Mordor orcs. So lovely, yet almost forgotten old sculpts. I really enjoied painting them!

 

I still had some hobbits laying aroud to join my Ent army and decided to finally paint them up. Three merry's and three Pippin's done!

 

Easterlings: part 6 - more Pikemen

I painted some more Easterling pikemen. Still some swordmen to do en then on to the Dragon emperor and Dragon knights!

Puma's!

I painted some reinfocements for my Afrika korps. 4 SD KFz 231's, also known as Puma's.

I'm looking forward to put them into action.

 

Easterlings: part 5 - the new heroes and metal cavalry

After a short break, I'm bach with more Easterlings! 

I painted up the lovely new Forgeworld heroes and the old metal cavalry. The metal cavalry is so difficult to paint, it took a while. still happy with the result. The gleeming horde is growing.
